Prov 28:1-2
28 The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
2 For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.
KJV
First impressions are not always the best ones to hold onto but they do show us something. Ever notice how some people are always fleeing the light, how they always seem ready to run or seem to be sneaking around? Most likely something evil or wicked going on and no one has to be even chasing them, they just flee. Same with the man not right with God, he flees the presence of God in that he does not read his Bible, does not pray, refuses to go to church and will not be around the people of God, he is running. But from who and how far can he run? The wicked will always be caught and the man who flees from God will one day stand befor Him, there is no place to hide.
