John 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
As the Good Shepherd the Lord Jesus Christ knows His sheep personally, but the sheep can also know Him. (Verse 14) I know how well Jesus knows us, how well do you know Him? We can as Christians know the Lord Jesus Christ, know the Good Shepherd in the same way that He knows us. That knowledge does not come naturally, is not just a by product of our salvation, that knowledge must be acquired. Now because we have the Holy Spirit within there are some things just imparted to us, but others we must seek after and one of them is a deeper knowledge of our Lord. That comes as we spend time in His Word each day, as we meditate upon the things we read and the things of God. That come as we spend time each day with the Lord in prayer. And that come as we attend a Bible believing, Bible believing, independent, fundamental church. Not any church will do and not any Bible will do, one needs a real Bible believing church and the real Bible, the King James Bible. These things and practices are there and need to be there for us to get to know the Lord, for us to get to know our Good Shepherd.
