John 21:5-6 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

Apologies for missing yesterday as I had to leave the home in the very early house and did not get back home until later in the day.
We note today that when the disciples cast the net on the right side of the ship they were not able to draw it into the boat because of the weight of the fish they had caught. Trying on their own they were able to do noting, to catch nothing, but when they did the very same thing with Jesus in it there was great success. Now we know this applies spiritually in our lives for without Him we can do nothing. (John 15) But does this same principal apply in every area of life? Yes it does my friend. If Jesus Christ is not in it there will be immediate or ultimate failure be it in work, marriage, whatever area of life. This points out some very important things. I know many professing Christians who live their lives Monday through Saturday as if Jesus did not exist and then on Sunday come to play church. They wonder when their lives are so empty and meaningless while all the time the answer is right in front to them, Jesus is not in it. Others engage in activities that are anything but Christian, this Christ cannot be involved in, and then wonder why things do not go right for them, why Jesus seems so very far away. Friend, if you and I do not do things in life the right way, do them with Jesus we will never find any meat, never find any fish in the boat.
