answer me.
8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.
9 Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.

I was preaching to the folks in the nursing home last evening and on those occasions one looks into same sad and lonely faces. None of those dear folks are where they want to be, none of them dreamed of being in a nursing home one day. Many of them have very few if any visitors, some feel as if they have been abandoned by their family and forgotten. In many situations that is true, but they never need be alone. As Christians we have the assurance from the Bible that we will never be forgotten, never be forsaken, that our heavenly Father stands always by our side. When we seek the Lord we find Him always near by and that is a blessed truth. It were more possible for your parents to forget you than for Jesus Christ to do so and when this was written that was an unthinkable thing.
