1 Peter 1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

The vast majority of believers kept by the power of God never realize that power in their lives. A simple statement but one that is proved day after day as we look at the condition of the church in these last days. The church seems powerless, Christians seem powerless, there seems to be no power of God that is visible in the lives of His children today. What is the reason? There are many. Ask yourself today how much time you will spend in His Word and in Prayer. Ask yourself today how much time you will spend seeking His will in your life. Ask yourself today how obedient you are to His Word, how committed you are to Him, ask yourself how great is your love and devotion for the Lord. The answer to these questions give the reason for a lack of power in the church and in Christians today. My friend if we want the power of God we need to seek it, we need to walk in Christ and not in the world. I know I am kept by the power of God, the question becomes am I walking in that power, can others see it in me?
