Gen 4:9 And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?

The question God asked of Cain was one of “What have you done”? God knew where Able was, knew what Cain had done, and now it was time to answer for it. At time I wonder what was going on in the mind of Cain for he had to know this could not be hidden for long, that he would have to answer for that sin. But then today we see people all the time who act as if there will never be a judgment, never a time when they will have to answer for sin. Yet the Bible over and over again points to judgment and a reckoning time. At the Great White Throne judgment many books are opened, man will answer for his action. The Bible says that we will give account for every idle word that we speak. There is a judgment coming for all, saved and lost. Now for the Christian salvation will not be an issue at our judgment seat before Christ, but we still will answer for things done good or bad after salvation. No man will escape judgment, but few men are ready for it.
