The rich and poor meet together: the Lord is the maker of them all.
A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life.
Thorns and snares are in the way of the froward: he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
What does it take to raise a child? According to the liberal thinkers of our day it “Takes a village to raise a child”. What they mean is it takes government, it takes physiologist, it takes schools, it takes universities, it takes everything but a parent. What does it take to raise a child? It takes the Bible, it take born again parents who will bring that child to Jesus, it takes strong Bible believing independent fundamental churches to raise a child, in that order. Look at the generations that are being lost today, lost to the world, lost to drugs and alcohol, and they have something in common, no Bible, no savior. Want to raise your children in a way that will give them stability in this world? Raise them according to the Bible and in the house of God. It doesn’t take a village, it takes Jesus Christ and His Word to raise your children.
