Eccl 12:1-2 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
2 While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:

When will people make time for the Lord in their lives? When should they? Most people live their lives in this world as if the Lord mattered little or not at all, especially while they are younger in years. Have you ever stopped to think of the folly in that? As I was preaching yesterday I was looking into the faces of some aged Christians, some in their 80’s and even in their 90’s. They made an effort to be in the house of God and for them it was a great effort. Be sure I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for them, for their salvation and their testimonies. Yet I wondered how many younger professing Christians I know who just had no time at all for the Lord yesterday. Some would tell me they were sick, others they were tired, but it all comes down to they just are indifferent to God and the things of God at this time in their lives. But the Bible tells us we need to remember the Lord in the days of our youth. Why? I want you to think about that truth today and we will look deeper into it over the next few days.
