December 26th, 2014 by Pastor SolleyLuke 2:9-14 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
I pray all had good Christmas yesterday, this preacher did. My thoughts went often throughout the day to those we are separated from, some by miles and for the first time this year, some by death. Yet God is so very good to us. Those who have passed on went to be with the Lord in heaven having known the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior, and they had a better Christmas than they ever had in this world, praise the Lord. Those separated by miles we were able to talk to and while they are missed they are safe and sound and know the Lord as well. It was a good day and now back to the work, back to life in Christ which is a very, very, very good life.
