Matt 24:4-8 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
1 John 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

Ready for His return in love and encouragement. We stand for certain in the last days and these are days when we need to be encouraged as Christians, we need the love of the brethren. Yet so many times we see the prophecy of Christ ringing true in the church today, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” While that is true of the world it should never be true of the Christian, never be true of the body of Christ. But tell me today, how many times do you reach out to those in need, go see one of like precious faith who is having a difficult time, visit them, pray with them, try and be an encouragement to them because you love them? I know the answer to that as well as we all do, not enough. The family of God is to be just that, a family, and in a family love is to be present, love is to be shown. Think today of who you may be able to encourage and give them a call, talk to them, go see them, pray with them, show the love that we are commanded to have for them. This is needed in these last days.
