Matt 24:1-11 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

To be ready for the end the first thing one must be sure of is that he or she is born again. I could very easily and most likely rightly assume that most people, if not all people who read the devotionals on the web site are saved, that they are born again, but that is a dangerous assumption to make. When Jesus met good people, He pointed them to salvation, when He met religious people He pointed them to salvation, when He met the vile sinners of the day He pointed them to salvation for that is the need of each and every individual. When Jesus went to the cross and gave His life, shed His blood as a sacrifice for sin it was for all, not some, for all. The reason being that all need salvation, that God wants all to be saved, and that all can be saved. But the decision of salvation lies in the hands and hearts of men, what will you do, what have you done with Jesus Christ and His free gift of salvation? Have you repented of your sin and asked Jesus to save you, have you turned your life over to Him? I mention repentance because so many choose to leave it out of salvation today, but God didn’t. Repentance is a turn from self and sin to Jesus Christ, it is sorrow for sin, but contrition as well. When repentance is real salvation is real and lives are changed for Christ. Are you ready for the end?
