14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
Off to a good beginning yesterday for our week of camp. We welcomed in about 40 campers, the oldest being 18, the youngest being 8. Some with us for the first time are so excited for the week of camp, some being with us for the last time, those 18, look at this week a little differently. These older campers have been with us from a very young age and it marks a change in thins as next year they will be working, or if they can be with us they will be workers in the camp. That is one of the blessings of our camp ministry as we have counselors and others working in the kitchen who were campers for many years and now they want to see the ministry continue. I looked at them at 8 or 10 years of age and prayed for that generation, that they would grow up and have a desire to serve the Lord, and now here they are, God has answered prayer. Last evening the missionary spoke of having a love for Jesus and that is what we pray for, that not only the campers but staff as well have a deep rooted love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for us today as we minister to the young people and have the Spirit of God minister to us.
