Prov 30:5-6 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Three times God warns man not to tamper with His Word, in Deut., here in Proverbs, and in Rev. The warning at the end of the book of Revelation is the most well known, but the warning here in Proverbs gives some insight to all of the problems we have today in our homes, nation, and the world. There is nothing good about a liar, they mislead, deceive, hurt, and cause damage that may never be repaired. What does the Bible say about one who changes the Word of God? That they are a liar. The Bible very clearly speaks out against sin and against the sins that have overtaken our nation today, abortion, homosexuality, fornication and the like. When people ignore His Word, or say God’s Word is not against those things they are a liar and liars destroy. The one thing we can be sure of is God’s Word and we need to stand up and defend His Word. Is it too late to do anything today, too late to turn the tide? Only God knows that but what we do know is that we can believe His Word, depend upon His Word, and should defend His Word.
