Nah 1:1-3 The burden of Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite. 2 God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies. 3 The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

There is a winter storm coming to PA today, snow, wind, cold temps, all the things that one should expect in January in PA. As people see these this storm forecast they will go to stores today, get groceries, get gas, make a trip to town before the storm comes, get ready for the storm. Nothing wrong with that, we should make ourselves ready, be prepared. Yet we can read of the coming storm of judgment in the Bible, read of the wrath of God being poured out on sin, and people ignore it, people are indifferent. Ever wonder why people will trust a TV weather man more than they will trust the Bible, more than they will trust God? Time has proved that weather report wrong more than one can remember, God has never been wrong, who should we trust? I will see people out today, stores packed with people getting ready and most of those ones have no idea of the real storm that is fast coming, most have no interest at all in the Word of God, no interest at all in the Lord. How many are going to be caught unprepared in the storm of God’s judgment?
