2 Cor 6:1-3 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Most of America went to bed last night with our nation facing certain doom and we woke up this morning to find that congress saved the day. How did they do it? They put off until January making any real decisions, put off until January doing anything about our rising debt and out of control spending. In short, they did nothing. That is what many do with Jesus and His gift of salvation through his shed blood on the cross everyday. How many people when confronted with sin, when convicted by sin, when made aware of their need for salvation put it off until another day? How many could find that hell is their home for eternity because they put off Jesus and the gospel until a later day? People do with Jesus what our congress did last night, put Him off until a later day. My friend, that indecision is not good for anyone. It grieves the heart of Jesus, it leaves the soul in danger of hell, that type of indecision is good no man or woman. What about you today? Have you repented of your sin and asked Jesus to forgive and save you? And if you have will you live for Him and serve Him today? Our day is a day of indecision, no one wants to make a commitment to anything or anyone. But we must make a commitment to Christ for according to the Bible this is a day of decision. What will you do with Jesus today?
