Heb 10:23-25 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

What uncertain days we are living in, what will happen on the 17th, will the United States borrow more money that it cannot pay back or will it borrow more? Will medical benefits stop, will social security stop, will the economy crash? Will the Lord, the righteous judge, finally say it is enough and judge this nation fully for its sin? These are uncertain day. What is the Christian to do? The answer for that is in our text this morning. Hold fast to your faith in Jesus Christ for He has never and will never let His children down. That doesn’t mean we will not have to go through trials, but it does mean He will sustain us through them, will provide for us through them. Encourage one another in these things, provoke to love and good works and not to despair and discouragement. Be in the house of God and serve through the church the living God in these last days until Jesus comes again. These are uncertain days but the course of action we are to follow as Christians is clear and certain.
