2 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. 3 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. 5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
Here we go again with another government shutdown over how much money our nation can borrow against itself, how much money it can print, how much money it can spend that it does not have. So many up in arms now today over spending programs that may get cut that we cannot afford in the first place. Have you ever called your and asked why the salaries and expense accounts of the congress are not stopped when we run out of money? Why the spending of the president is not stopped when we run out of money? The reason they are not hindered is that the entire system is corrupt. But there is coming a day of just government and a just and true ruler to the earth. No it will not come from a republican or democrat, not from an independent, but from God Himself. There is coming a day when Jesus Christ will rule and reign on this earth, over all the earth and what a day that will be. There is coming a day when every nation will sing for joy over Him and in His presence, a day when all will praise Him and a day when the earth will increase. Christian look for and pray for that day to come. Of course we know that from now until that time there is going to be much tribulation on this earth. Praise God we will not be here for the worst of it for the things that puts all this in motion is the rapture of the church. That could be today.
