Eph 5:16-17 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Col 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
Have you ever noticed how many things have been invented to save time that end up causing people to waste time? Take the PC if you would as most people have them now in the home. This is a real time saver as one has seemingly all the information in the world at the touch of a finger. Yet with the PC has come Facebook and the like and people spend hour after hour each day wasting time. Then there are the games that come with the PC and people waste even more time. Time wasted that could be spent doing other things, getting work done around the house, time that could be spent doing the Lord’s work. Many of the things that have been invented that do save time end up causing people to waste time. No wonder the Bible tell us that we are to redeem time, to use time wisely. Once time is spent it can never be brought back. What did you miss yesterday because you wasted your time?
