August 12th, 2013 by Pastor SolleyEph 3:20-21 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
I want to give a final report on our Church Camp which ended on Saturday the 10th. I cannot remember in all of our years of hosting camp one like this one. The most serious injury was a bee sting and we had only one of those. There was no illness in the camp all week, no one asked to go home because they were homesick, no one had to be sent home. All the first time campers want to come back next year. The campers loved the missionary and his family. This was the first year in quite a while that the speaker for the camp could play in the games with the campers. There seemed to be something holding the campers back during the chapel times for the first few days. Then a young girl was saved on Wednesday night and the flood gates broke as we saw many decisions made for Christ. God was very good to us for the week going beyond what we thought or perhaps even prayed for. The missionary made a good point about prayer that I am using in my life, pray about everything. If you pray about everything he said and when the big things in life come along you will know how to pray. Thank you for your prayers for our camp. Next year we begin I believe on Monday August 4th. It will be held the first full week in August each year.
