Ex 8:8-10 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the Lord, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the Lord. 9 And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only? 10 And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the Lord our God.

How many things in life do we put off until tomorrow? Most of the time we think it will never hurt us to put things off, to push them back. In our text Pharaoh pleads for the frogs to be taken out of the land and that request is answered. But take not that when he is asked of Moses when he would like it done Pharaoh responds “To morrow”. Hard to believe that he wanted one more night with the frogs, one more night in torment by them, but he did. So it is when we push things off until tomorrow in our lives, it will often lead to trouble. Perhaps we are going to start that diet tomorrow, do that task tomorrow, but when tomorrow comes the job is even harder and we push it back again. So it is spiritually as well, start reading our Bible, start family devotions, start being what God wants us to be, all tomorrow. Yet when tomorrow comes the task is pushed back again. God was willing to relieve the suffering of Pharaoh, but he wanted to wait until tomorrow.
