The biggest obstacle in seeing prayers answered in this preachers opinion is a lack of real prayer in the people of God. I hear many times from people that God doesn’t seem to be answering their prayers and they don’t know why. I often wonder how much people pray oir how they pray. Jeremiah had a real relationship with the Lord and a real prayer life. He wept before God over the needs of people, over the needs of his day, he prayed and he prayed often. Elijah had a real relationship with God and a real prayer life. Why should we expect God to answer our prayers in time of need when he hears nothing from us any other time. God does [promise to answer prayer, every prayer, every day, but we also need to pray. The invitation is before us, “Call unto me”, do we answer that invitation?
