Ps 88:1-4 O Lord God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee: 2 Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry; 3 For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave. 4 I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no strength:

Where to turn when we are full of troubles? David had the answer, turn to the Lord. If you take time to read this entire Psalm you find a man troubled day and night, you find a man afflicted and ready to die. Yet David was sure of this one thing, his help would be in the Lord. That is why day and night he was before the Lord in prayer, day and night God heard his voice, David was a man of prayer. The heading of this Psalm tells us it is a Psalm for the sons of Korah, but I would say it is a Psalm for the children of God today as well. What a troubled world we live in and that trouble at times falls on the Christian as well. People lie, cheat, fight, steal, do all kinds of things. Thos who we think are trusted friends often become enemies. Where can we turn, what can we do? Take a lesson from this Psalm, turn to the Lord, let Him hear your voice day and night. Hen we have no strength then we need be strong in the Lord.
