Luke 8:23-25 But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. 24 And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. 25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

Even in the greatest storms of life the believer in Christ is never really in jeopardy, not when they abide with Jesus. There are times when we are drowning in the storms of life it seems, times when the waves will never end, times when we are in jeopardy of going under. But are we really? There is always that one we can go to, call out His name, and pray He clam the storm of life. At times we need ask ourselves the very same question Jesus asked the disciples in the ship, “Where is your faith?” If He really is God, if we really known Him as our Savior and Lord of our lives, then all things will be well, will turn out well. Even when the storm of death touches us, He is there. Christian, Jesus is in the ship with you, in the storm of life with you. We never are really in jeopardy.
