This is the last day of 2012 and for many of us this is hard to believe, not that the year is coming to an end, but that we are still here to see this day. How long before Jesus returns to call out His church is known only to the Father, but how many of us never thought we would see even the year 2000 much less 2012 and now 2013? Still we are about to enter into another New Year with our Blessed Hope still in front of us. Let us stop and look back then this morning on this last day of 2012. How did our year stack up? Did we do all that we could in service for the Lord Jesus Christ? Did we walk before Him in a manner that He was pleased with? Did the world see Jesus in us in the past year? How did your year stack up. This preacher knows that there are many things that he needs to change in 2013, knows that he needs to be more faithful in prayer, more giving of self to Christ and others, more yielded to the Holy Spirit of God. Let us look back at how our year stacks up to what God wants us to be and what God wants us to do, and then by prayer and the power of God let us make 2013 a better year in the Lord.
