Josh 24:14-16 Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. 16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the Lord, to serve other gods;

Tomorrow we go to the polls as a nation and all voting age Americans are given a choice. This is being called the most important election of our lifetime by many and it may very well be. Yet I would draw your attention to an even more important decision that we face, that of choosing God or the world, God or self, God or Satan. The Bible clearly shows that we are given choice, “Choose you this day”. Some will not vote tomorrow and others will vote having given little thought to the matter. It is the same with spiritual things as some are indifferent to the Lord while others give very little thought to spiritual things. I have been getting phone call after phone call the past few weeks from people who represent different men seeking my vote. As a Christian I now make a call seeking your vote, seeking your decision, urging you to choose. Would you choose to follow Jesus today, would you choose to receive Him into your heart, would you choose to serve Him? It is the most important decision you will ever make.
