Daily Devotions

Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Faith honors God, God honors faith. Very few Christians that I know have not heard that saying, and very few Christians I know follow it. We know we have a Savior who is able to do all things in and through us, one who is able to move mountains, one who has stopped the mouth of lions, one who stands for us, leads, and guides us. We know all these tings to be true and yet practice none of them. Most Christians know very little of faith. One reason is that we neglect to keep open the avenue of faith. What does our text tell us this morning. “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God”. Will you start this day in his Word? Will you obey His Word today? Will you share His Word with others today? When the answer to these questions is no then we have closed off the avenue of faith.
