John 17:1-4 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. 3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. 4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

Jesus always finished what He started. (Verse 4) No person was ever left halfway healed, halfway cleansed, Jesus always finished what He started and that included the work of salvation. How different is that from people today? There are more things left completely undone or done halfway today then there are things finished. People today say they are seeking the will of God in their lives, seeking for something to do for the Lord and all the while they leave things undone or go just halfway. Bible are left unopened for most of the week, no prayer time, no time to witness for the Lord. The everyday things of the Christian life are just done halfway and people wonder why there isn’t more. I think that if we do the simple everyday tings, finish them, then we will find more. Are you a finisher, did you finish yesterday what you know was to be done for Him? Will you finish today? Jesus always finished what He started to do.
