2 Chron 33:17-20 Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places, yet unto the LORD their God only. 18 Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to him in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel. 19 His prayer also, and how God was intreated of him, and all his sin, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers. 20 So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

Manasseh was perhaps the most evil king in the long history of Israel. He was the son of a good and Godly man but was one who brought back idol worship and much worse to Israel, the land was filled with innocent blood shed by this evil man. Yet notice verse 19 above, that God humbled him before his death. My friend no man can shake a fist at God, no man can mock God and get away with it. Israel suffered much because of what this man had done and then God dealt with him and the nation. It reminds me much of our nation today. Our leaders continually try and take us away from God and the people blindly follow. We need to pray for our nation and pray for our leaders for God will not be mocked and God will deal with a nation, leaders, and people such as we have in America today. Pray that God does deal with our leaders to humble them before He humbles the nation. Pray as well for the salvation of those who seem to like nothing better than to shake a fist at God.
