Daily Devotions

Matt 19:13-15
13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

Again we see the heart of God concerning children in these verses. That word “Suffer” in an interesting one. It means to bring them to Jesus, to send them to Him, to lay all things aside to get them to the Lord. As we see a generation of young people lost what greater need is there than this one? Young people need the Lord Jesus Christ. They have been given the video games, the movies, the sports, the toys and entertainment of the world and what has that done for them? We do indeed see a generation that is lost, but one that does not need to be. Bring them to Jesus, suffer them, forbid them not. Parents, get your children in a good Bible believing church right now. Get involved in that church, serve in it, worship in it, pray in it, and be given to the Lord. This is the cure for what is happening to our young people today, Jesus Christ. Lat Jesus lay His capable hands upon them.

PS.
I will be away from my desk tomorrow. Be back with the devotions on Monday.
