And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him. 11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? 12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. 13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other. 14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him. 15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all.
Can you imagine what type of people came to Jesus that day. All were sick, all were in need of a healing. No doubt every type of illness know at that time was there and Jesus healed them all. I have no problem believing the Bible that Jesus healed them all. Jesus healed them physically and this is a picture of what Jesus can and does do spiritually. Why are there some today then who think that Jesus did not die for all, that Jesus does not want to save all? They claim that can be seen in the fact that not all get saved. Yet not everyone was healed in that day, only those who came to Christ. You see God has given man a free will to decide to receive or reject Jesus Christ. There may have been some on that day who listened to the Pharisees and did not follow Jesus. Just like most today who listen to the world, listen to religion, listen to the devil, and do not follow Jesus. The Bible says Jesus died for all and Jesus wants to save all. Those who do not believe this have followed a false gospel. Did Jesus mean what He said in John 3:16 or didn’t He understand fully? Jesus meant what He said my friend, Jesus Christ died for all that all might get saved.
