Acts 26:19-25 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: 20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. 21 For these causes the Jews caught me in the temple, and went about to kill me. 22 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: 23 That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles. 24 And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad. 25 But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness.

Are Christians crazy? King Agrippa and Festus thought so. (Verse 24) After hearing the testimony of Paul they were left with the conclusion that he was crazy. Which brings up the question; are Christians crazy? Consider the facts. I got up this morning and spoke to someone I have never seen. I will read a book in a few moments expecting to hear from that same one in a personal way through a book He gave thousands of years ago. As I go through my day today I will have that one whom I have never seen, never heard His voice, in my thoughts and mind. I will try and please Him in all that I do and ask Him to direct my path and lead me. I will ask Him to take care of my family, to protect my son on the icy roads this morning, to guide and direct my daughter and her husband and son. I will ask Him already to prepare my grandson to receive Him into his heart one day. I trust my future to Him and today I have a peace and joy that comes only from Him. All the while the world denies that this one even exists or that He exists in a personal way. Yet I know Him in a personal way never having seen Him. Are Christians crazy? The evidence causes the world to say yes. The peace and joy one finds in Jesus Christ causes the Christian to say “Praise the Lord”.
