Mark 4:10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.

Just one verse this morning but a precious one. The disciples spent many hours alone with Jesus. What precious hours those must have been. They had His undivided attention, could ask Him anything, were given answers to all that they asked. They were alone with God! Think of that for a moment, they were alone with God. And so it can be for all of us everyday if we wish. To spend time alone with God, to have His undivided attention, to ask and have answers given. Such is the privilege of every born again child of God. But so few experience that today. The only reason is that we have no desire for this type of relationship, this type of communion with God. Most have busied themselves with the things of the world to the point that they have no time to be alone with God. May God forgive us for this. I awoke this morning at 2:30AM and could not get back to sleep. What to do? Fix the fire so the house will remain warm, try and go back to sleep, wonder around, turn on the TV, what to do? These are the times that one can be alone with God. It is time well spent when we will take the time. The trouble with Christians today is that few will take the time. Let us make time today to be alone with God.
