Throughout the Bible you will find statements made by those who are lost that speak volumes of truth about our Lord. One of those statements can be found in verse 46 of our text. “Never man spake like this man”. What a tremendous truth about our Lord. Never man spoke like Jesus because there has never been a man like Jesus. Completely God and completely man, no one has ever been or ever will be like Jesus. Here are six additional things that Jesus did and no man has ever done like Jesus. (1) No one has ever been born as Jesus was born. Matt 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
(2) No one ever taught as Jesus taught. Matt 7:29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
(3) No one ever worked as Jesus worked. John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
(4) No one ever sent as Jesus sent. Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
(5) No one ever left as Jesus left. Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
(6) No one has ever returned as Jesus will return. Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
No one has ever been or ever will be like Jesus.
