John 8:32-36 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? 34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. 35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. 36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

What a wonderful truth of Scripture, “The truth shall make you free”. I am meeting with a man this morning that has been visited by the Jehovah Witness cult. They have been back several times and have been giving to him their false gospel. What it did though was cause him to read the Bible in search of truth. He knows something is wrong with what they are saying but doesn’t know the Lord. So he called a friend who goes to our church, the friend called me and we are going to see that man this morning. What a blessing that we can give him the truth, we can give him Jesus Christ. And more we can show him that God sent Jesus to die for him, to die for all, and that he can be saved, all can be saved. I look with wonder at how the Spirit of God works. He allowed man to use a lie to get this man to search for truth. I of course do not know if that man will repent from sin and get saved today. I only know the Spirit of God is working and it is a great blessing to be able to give a seeking sinner the truth of the gospel. Jesus saves!
