Matthew 10:29-31 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Last evening after our nursing home service a gentleman asked to speak to me. He had a problem that he wanted to share with me. His wife, they are both residents, said it was a small thing. Before thinking I assured him there are no small problems to God. We talked and while and then the three of us had prayer. Later I got to thinking about that great truth, there are no small problems with God. The Lord wants to hear all of our problems, wants to lift every burden, wants to be the solution to all of our needs. We are quick to take what we think of as the “Big things” to God. But what of the “Little things”? Always remember that we are of more value to God than the sparrows. Many of them will fall to the ground today but not one of them without God taking note of it. God cares about the little things.
