Galatians 6:6-9 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

I wonder how many Christians really believe verse 7 of our text? Judging by the condition of the church today I would say not many. Would you say that more Christian follow the world or follow the Lord? That more Christians please the flesh or please God? Most professing Christians I fear do not really believe the Bible. That is until it hits home. Have you ever wonder when Adam found verse 7 to be true? Perhaps when he buried his son Able did he learn that one reaps what he sows. When did Jonah find this to be true? When he was in the great fish he learned that a man reaps what he sows. How about David? Was it when his little baby died, or when another son tried to kill him. A man does reap what he sows. Let us remember this truth as we go about our daily walk. We all will sow something today just as we did yesterday. What are we going to harvest?
