Praise God for the opportunity to go to church. I pray you had a good day yesterday in the house of God. I can’t understand why those who claim to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior would not want to go to church. It is in the house of God that we learn, grow, fellowship, sing praises, pray, and have sweet communion and fellowship with those of like precious faith. It is in church that we meet in the very presence of God. What a blessing the church is to God’s people. How sad that so many who profess to know Jesus do not want to meet with Jesus in the church, in His church. Remember that Jesus Christ started the church, that He died and lives for the church, and that he told us even the gates of hell could not prevail against His church. And so we would not miss what God has for us in church we are commanded to attend. Many claim there is no need for the church today so they neglect it. Others get convicted by the Word of God so they ignore the church. Some claim they have found a new way in which God will work today so they view the church as outdated. But God’s Word still commands us to go to church. Praise God for the opportunity to go to church.
