Often I have thought about this verse and the context in which it is given. I do not want to take it out of context this morning but look at it in a little different light. Imagine if you would that God the Father is speaking here to God the Son. Jesus Christ came into this world to die for sinners. How thankful I am that Jesus gave something holy, Himself, unto dogs. Then a person receives Christ within. How often would this verse again speak to them. Jesus give us so much each and everyday. The Bible tells us His mercies are new every morning. Yet how do we live for Him? Could it be true that everyday Jesus gives something holy unto the dogs. I know I am looking at this is a different way but think of this for just a moment. How much will Jesus give you today and will you give anything to Him? Will you give Him your time in reading the Bible and prayer? Will you give Him your time in church this evening? Will you give Him your service in telling others about Him today? Will you live for Him today? Or will He be giving something holy unto dogs?
