king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

Who has your heart this morning? Can God tell others about you what He records of David in His Word? David was not a perfect man, not a sinless man. The faults of David are recorded in the Bible for all to see. Some wonder how God could use a man such as David. David was no different than you or me. David fell to temptation as many if not most of us have in our lives. David found himself looking at the world and not at the Lord. David found himself in the wrong place when he should have been in the right place. Yet David sought forgiveness and repented before God and God granted that forgiveness. David was restored because he turned his heat over to the Lord once again. I see so many troubled Christians today and I am often numbered among them. Yet when we stray we need just turn again to our precious savior, we just need to have a heart after the heart of God. Today Christian look within and see who has your heart. Give it to the one who died for you, who gave His life that He might have your heart.
