I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Much is made today, as there should be, about making living accommodations for when one is older. Assisted living, complexes for those 55 and older and the like, reverse mortgage and the like. One should make plans for the so called “Golden Years”. But still most people neglect to do that. Most of us tend to think we will continue on just the way we are forgetting that things will change as we get older. The same thing is seen spiritually with most people. They think that they will live forever and give little thought to eternity. But Jesus Christ paid a very high price to provide a living place for all men. The Bible tells us that Jesus died for all so all could be saved, so all will have that living place for eternity with Him. But not all will take the necessary to have this living place, this mansion that Jesus has prepared. Just as many make no plans for the time when they are older in this world they make no plans for the day they will leave this world. Have you made reservations for your future?
