John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

What a wonderful truth, that Jesus Christ died for all, that whosoever may call, that God wants all men to be saved. It is impossible to read the Bible and not come to this conclusion. And then to see God through the conviction power of the Spirit of God and the blood of Jesus Christ save a soul. Just a week ago I shared the plan of salvation with a gentleman who is 97 years old. He was able to understand sin, judgment, condemnation, Christ, the cross, forgiveness, heaven and hell. But he refused to be saved, he and he alone rejected salvation. I was able to see him again yesterday and after speaking of Christ and the cross, sin and hell, he told me he wanted to be saved. I listened with tears in my eyes as that man called out to God for salvation. Today he is saved by Christ and on the way to heaven. He did not become part of an “Elect” group that he was not part of before. He was always part of the “Whosoever”, always part of the “World”. But yesterday he stopped rejecting and received the Lord Jesus Christ. It was a choice he made and there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels because he decided to say yes to Christ. What a wonderful Savior, what a wonderful salvation we have set before us.
