One cannot enter the kingdom of God unless they become as a “Little child”. Yesterday we saw how one must become as innocent as a little child to be saved, to receive eternal life. When one places their faith and trust in Jesus Christ, when one repents of sin and turns to Christ, they have their sin washed away and become as innocent as a little child in the eyes of God. And all can come to Christ. Now there is more. Think of how a little child learns to trust in the care of mom and dad. All they need they look for mom and dad to provide. They willingly place their lives in the hands of their parents. But you say “They do this without thinking, they do this because they know no other way”. That is the point my friend. We need to place our lives in the hand of God without thinking. We need to get to the point in our lives where we know no other way. To that point where we turn our lives over to the Lord completely and entirely. The first face that child wants to see in the morning is of mom or dad, the first voice they want to hear. At night they want mom of dad to be there with them. They want to be at all times in the presence of the ones they trust. Just watch a baby follow after mom and dad. That is the way we must learn to follow after the Lord.
