Matthew 7:15-20
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

One is reminded from time to time that not everyone is what they say they are. We see this every year at camp time. Monday night a camper came saying through tears that someone was being mean to them. I have learned over the years to wait until all the evidence is in. As it turns out our poor little camper was the one starting everything. It seems those claiming to be harmed the most are trying to cause the most harm. I heard a preacher put it this way one time. “I know sheep are soft and fluffy,so why am I so marked by teeth and claws?” One must be careful to see all of the evidence all of the time.
