Genesis 41:37-39
And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants. 38 And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? 39 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:

One could say without hesitation that in the beginning the Spirit of God was in and upon our nations and our leaders. The reason for the fight for independence in found in the hearts of those men and women who believed the Bible and had Jesus Christ within. The framers of our Constitution believed and followed the Word of God. Belief in God, faith in Christ, and obedience to His Word made our nation great and secured the blessings of God. We are sustained by those past blessings today. But they will run out one day soon! Pray for this nation and our leaders, pray for their salvation, pray that America would once again be a God fearing, God honoring nation. Happy 4th of July.
