Daily Devotions

1 Timothy 4:10-13 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. 11 These things command and teach.12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
We stamp it on our money, “In God we trust”, we pledge that we are a nation under the authority of God, our constitution has as a foundation the Word of God, congress begins each session with prayer. So why by our actions have we turned away from God? Abortion, homo marriage, the Bible out of our schools, the Then Commandments taken out of government buildings, no prayer at graduation exercises. Have things gotten better or worse in our nation now that we have become enlightened? Give Satan credit, he has again blinded the eyes of a nation to its ruin. Pray that we get back to our beginnings as a nation. But it will never happen until God’s people walk in their good beginnings as well.
