Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. 14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. 15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.
Our church finishes up our week of VBS today and tomorrow. It has been a good week thus far and I pray God will bless these next two days as well. But I am saddened by how few will take the time and make the effort to bring their children to the Lord. Not just for VBS but all the time. People are willing it seems to give their children everything except the right thing. They have cell phones, video games, TV in the bedroom, i pod, this pod and that pod, they have everything money can buy. But they don’t have Christ. What is free parents will not lead them to, what they need parents will not lead them to. What is wrong with children today? Parents who do not care enough to being them to Christ.
