As you read the gospels you find over and over again the Lord Jesus Christ in prayer. Here in Luke we find Jesus all night in prayer. We begin a two day conference on prayer at Cherry Corner Bible Church this morning. It actually began yesterday morning with a message on prayer and continued last evening. Prayer has been replaced by so many other things in the lives of God’s people today. Give thought today to how much prayer means to you, or how much t is lacking in your life, in your service for the Lord. Without doubt for most of us prayer is not what it should be, not what God intends it to be. When was the last time you were all night in prayer?
