Few knew it then but all of God’s creation was waiting in silence for those three days that Jesus was in the grave. What if there was no resurrection? What if death did hold Him in the grave? All would have been lost, there would be no redeemer, God would have been made a liar, Satan would have won. But there was an empty tomb and there is a risen, living Savior praise God! Today and for the next few days think on this blessed truth, that Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners, that He paid that price for sin, and that He arose a victor from the grave. And then be sure to thank Christ for dying for you, for dying for all that all might be saved.
