Luke 22:59-62 And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean. 60 And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew. 61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. 62 And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.
When Jesus looks at you today what will He see? We are not told the expression on the face of Jesus as He tuned and looked at Peter but it must not have been one of joy or approval. It must have been an expression of hurt and disappointment. And the reaction of Peter was not a joyous one. But I wonder what Jesus sees as He looks at the Christan today. hen He looks t us and see us silent when we have the opportunity to speak for Him. When He looks at us and sees us anywhere else but church when the doors are open. When He looks at us and finds us looking at the world instead of looking to Him. I wonder what the expression is on the face of Jesus when He looks at us?
