Rom 14:7-9 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8?For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s. 9?For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

Do you ever stop and think of how great an influence your life has on others, especially for Christ? People think they can live a life unto themselves but none of us do. This is most especially true for the Christian. I often wonder what that grandchild thinks when they see grandpa or grandma have no interest in the Lord whatsoever. What do they think when mom or dad is just too tired to go to church? What do they learn from no one serving the Lord? What about the people you meet and talk with each day, the ones you work with, go to school with, what do they see in you that tells them something about Jesus Christ? We need to awake to the truth that none of us lives to ourselves. Someone is always watching, always looking at us, no man lives to himself. What then do people see in us that will bring them closer to the Lord? I often wonder about people who say how much they love Jesus, say how they know Him, yet all they do is ignore Him, will not go to church as the Bible says they should, always put down preaching, are so self-righteous that they need no one and will take no instruction. What picture of Jesus do they give the lost? What picture of Jesus do they give to weak Christians? Why can’t they see that they are so weak themselves?
